Overview

As a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, nestled in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, Nauru is the world’s smallest island country and maintains close ties with Australia and New Zealand. These relationships include special arrangements that allow Nauruan citizens to work in Australia and enable certain refugees to resettle in New Zealand. Launched in 2024, the Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Programme aims to support Nauru’s sustainable future while advancing global citizenship objectives, contributing to the long-term resilience of both Nauru and the broader Pacific region.

Eligibility Criteria

Main Applicant
- At least 18 years of age
- No criminal record
- Source of funds fulfills investment requirements
Eligibility of Dependents
- Spouse or de facto partner
- Unmarried children not older than 30 years old
- Parents and grandparents above 55 years of age
- Unmarried siblings and siblings-in-law
